Product description The 17XS MkII FET Style Compressor/Limiter from Lindell Audio is a single-channel 1176-style FET compressor and limiter. It has 5 step switched selectable ratio ranging from 4:1 to 100:1, for compression from mild to squashed. A selectable high-pass filter at 80Hz and low-pass filter at 8kHz act as normal filters, removing those frequencies from your audio. The high-pass sidechain filter ranges between 100 and 600Hz and leaves those frequencies in your audio signal, but prevents them from compressing.
The unit's Wet/Dry knob allows you to create a mix based upon how much compressed and dry signal you desire for parallel-style compression effects. The 17XS MkII has both mix and direct outputs, allowing you to mix your compressed and uncompressed signals separately on your mixer or in your DAW.
