Product description Designed to help guitar players in a variety of mobile scenarios, the Line 6 Sonic Port Guitar System interfaces with iOS devices to facilitate the recording of guitars and line-level instruments, the effection of digital pedalboards and effects via compatible apps, and more. A 1/4" input with 120 dB of dynamic range is provided for your guitar, while a stereo 3.5mm line-level input is offered for keyboards and other apposite devices. Via one of the two included iOS-friendly cables (a 30-pin connector for early models, and a lightning connector for later iterations), you can now work with mobile apps such as GarageBand, the Mobile POD amp, and other CoreAudio music apps. The device will convert your audio at resolutions and sample rates up to 24-bit/48 kHz. With the mobile POD amp, you can influence your tone in a variety of ways, choosing amongst digital stompboxes, amplifier emulations, cabinet mods, effects, and more. With something like GarageBand, you can record and layer your effected tones, so that you may capture all your musical ideas wherever you may roam. However, that's not all. The Sonic Port also provides a 1/4" output suitable for use with both guitars and line-level instruments, and with this jack, you can plug into your own, physical amplifier on stage—or straight into the house's PA. Now you can simply dial in your previously stored POD presets to instantiate your whole effects change for every song in the set. In such a manner, the Sonic Port can replace your cumbersome, analog pedalboard. A stereo 3.5mm output is provided for quiet monitoring during your practice routine.
