Product description The Line 6 V75-40V Digital Wireless Microphone expands upon the handheld transmitters usually found in their XD-V series wireless system. It differs in one handy and notable regard: It employs an Earthworks WL40V—a hypercardioid wireless microphone capsule renowned for its fast impulse response, high SPL handling, and even frequency response across the entire polar pattern. As such, it’s a suitable tool for capturing a natural-sounding vocal on stage, doing so for even the loudest concerts. This capsule integrates with Line 6’s true-diversity XD-V system, giving you compander-free, 24-bit digital transmission over the 2.4 GHz frequency band at ranges of up to 300’. No, you won’t get the XD-V’s customary DSP modeling with the V75-40V, but you shouldn’t have to: With an Earthworks capsule on the transmitter, you’ll be utilizing a diaphragm that often requires little to no processing on stage to secure the natural sound of your voice. The V75-40V runs on two AA batteries, and will give you up to eight hours of battery life. For distinguishing microphones on stage, black and chrome grilles are provided. You’ll also note the handy hardshell touring case, useful for protecting your V75-40V on the road. - Key Features at a Glance
