Product description The Lineco Short Lid Negative/Print Envelope Boxes (Black) are archival safe boxes that are made specifically for the bulk storage of 4x6" negatives and prints. It is made from sturdy 60 pt. acid-free scuff resistant board and buffered with a 3% calcium carbonate, suppressing the migrant acidity that comes through handling and environmental sources. The interior is lined with white paper and measures a pH of approximately 8.5. The boxes are 12" long and have a 1.5" deep short lid for quick and easy access. The box is metal edge reinforced for added strength and stackability. It is recommended that negatives and prints be placed in envelopes prior to placement in the box because this provides protection from handling and helps prevent possible chemical reaction between unprotected items. - Material
