Product description This Heavy-Duty Pro Tripod from Linhof supports up to 44.1 lb, measures 35.8" when folded, and features three, twin-shank, 2-section legs that are constructed using aluminum alloy with a textured, plastic coating. The twin-shank design serves to maximize rigidity and vibration resistance while the textured coating provides a secure grip when moving the tripod. Each leg features a clamping lever for secure and fast positioning. An integrated center brace assembly allows the legs to be opened simultaneously as well as uniformly, and they can be extended and spread to raise the tripod from a minimum height of 32.3" to a maximum height of 54.7". The center brace assembly helps to hold the legs in place, which include rubber feet with twist-out, metal spikes to further enhance stability on a wide variety of surfaces, including soft and uneven soil.
Tripod heads, cameras, lenses, or sport optics can be placed on the Heavy-Duty Pro Tripod after first connecting a separately-available Linhof 31477 90 to 70mm Tripod Top Plate with 3/8"-16 Mount, a 32964 90 to 70mm Tripod Top Plate with 1/4"-20 Mount, a 31482 Flat Tripod Top Plate with 3/8"-16 Mount, or a 32965 Flat Tripod Top Plate with 1/4"-20 Mount to the tripod. Any one of those top plates can be clamped into the Heavy-Duty Pro Tripod's durable, cast-iron head. Alternatively, a separately-available Linhof 3755 Large, Geared Centerpost can be installed within the cast-iron head and the center brace assembly. Together, the centerpost and Heavy-Duty Pro Tripod provide a minimum height of 37.4", a maximum height of 79.1", and further enable precise height adjustments along with geared movements. The 3755 Large, Geared Centerpost also features a clamp head that accommodates a compatible Linhof tripod top plate so that a tripod head, camera, lens, or sport optic can be placed on it. - Use and Handling
