Product description Extend your SDI signals over single-mode or multi-mode fiber optics with this Link Bridge Mini-3GHD-TR Fiber Optic 3G-SDI Receiver. When combined with a 3G-SDI fiber transmitter, SDI signals can be extended for miles (using single-mode cables) without any information degradation. The casing of the unit has a low profile to fit in tight equipment setups. Using a separate rackmount chassis, up to 12 receivers can be organized in a patch bay. The panel connectors on the receiver are a BNC SDI output, an ST-type fiber input for video I/O, and an integrated 5-pin XLR dongle for connecting to the included power supply. Like the BNC connector, the ST fiber connector offers a locking solution that will not come undone from cable strain. When not in use, the integrated metal cap covers the sensitive optical connection.
