Product description The Link Electronics AVS-816/SDA SDI Switcher with Audio Follow (16 x 1) features 16 SDI video, 16 AES stereo audio inputs, 1 SDI video output, 1 AES audio output, 1 analog video output, and 1 analog audio output. The unit offers digital and analog switching modules for both video and audio signals so that you can mix them in any combination.
With vertical interval switching, the device switches only at a particular reference point (vertical interval) and avoids mixing of multiple input signals. The switcher has non-looping inputs and high-return loss (>18dB). Digital audio switching takes place during the audio sample preamble and features a full-transformer isolation to eliminate the possibility of ground loop interference. Featuring a compact (19 x 1.75 x 8.7" / 48.3 x 4.4 x 22.1 cm) modular design, the AVS-816/SDA SDI Switcher with Audio Follow (16 x 1) supports video and audio in both the analog domain.
You can select the audio and video-breakaway feature via a single switch on the front panel. The dual LEDs on the source selection and follow switch indicate the switching mode (audio follow or video breakway).
The AVS-816/SDA SDI Switcher with Audio Follow can be controlled by a serial data feed through RS-232 or RS-422/485 interface that can be selected by an internal DIP switch. You can also control the switcher via a remote control (not included) . Up to 32 switchers can be cascaded and controlled by the Windows based control software. - 16 SDI video and 16 AES audio inputs
