Product description The Link Electronics IEC-715 Video Presence Detector with Audio Follow monitors primary video input signal. In the event of primary video signal loss, it automatically switches to an auxiliary video input. A unique noise immunity circuit makes the device immune to high-level noise on input. In case of a power failure, the primary video signal gets a hard by-pass through a relay. The user-friendly IEC-715 video presence detector lets you override the automatic change-over function and select either a primary or auxiliary video source. This can be done using the By-Pass and AUX Select switches on the front panel, which also houses the Status LED. The audio-follow-video capability for mono or stereo audio switching is facilitated by a captive screw terminal sub-module. Peripheral gear can be controlled using dry contacts for normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) via a three-terminal screw block. Encased in a stand-alone chassis, IEC-715 Video Presence Detector can be stored in a 1RU frame with a capacity of 3 units (700 series). - Monitors primary video input signal
