Product description The PSR-816 Remote Control Panel for AVS-816 Video Switcher from Link Electronics is a panel that allows you to remotely control and monitor the AVS-816 Video Switcher. It is a 16x1 controller that features an RS-232 serial port to allow interface with a computer. Communications with the switcher is handled via an RS-485 compatible serial link and an RJ-11 modular jack.
The combination of this panel with the switcher allows for communication distances of up to 1,000'. Push-button LED indicator lights on the panel display active, selected audio and video sources. This unit may control the switcher as an audio-only or video-only unit. This unit is mounted in a 1U chassis and features a reduced depth to accommodate placement on a table or desktop.
