Product description The PSR-824 Remote Control Panel for LINK 800 VSW Series Video and Audio Switchers from Link Electronics is a panel that allows you to remotely control and monitor LINK 800 VSW Series Video and Audio Switchers. It is an 8x1 controller that features an RS-232 serial port to allow interface with a computer. Communications with the switcher is handled via an RS-485 compatible serial link and an RJ-11 modular jack.
The combination of this panel with the switcher allows for communication distances of up to 1,000'. Active video and audio channels are indicated by a pair of seven-segment displays. This unit is mounted in a 1U chassis and features a reduced depth to accommodate placement on a table or desktop.
Depending on the switcher model, (16) or (8) video inputs and (2) outputs are available using true 75 Ohm BNC connectors. If desired, customers may also order 800 Series switchers with the internal video signal bus divided in half, effectively giving them two independent 8x1 switchers in one box. - Remote Control
