Product description Linksys' High Power PoE Injector provides Power-over-Ethernet capabilities to a Provider Edge (PE) device and to your non-PoE network. This PoE injector is a reliable power source for Power-over-Ethernet devices, such as wireless access points and IP cameras. This injector offers two Ethernet ports. The Data port transfers data and the Data/PoE port sends data as well as 30W of power to a PoE device that you connect. The injector can power and transfer data up to a distance of 328'.
The PoE injector employs QoS prioritization to prioritize the data sent from different applications and users to ensure this data is sent first. QoS prioritization is especially important for real-time streaming audio and video applications such as VoIP, since these often require a fixed bit rate and are delay sensitive.
The PoE injector is fully compatible with powered devices that comply with the IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at standards. The PoE injector is housed in a metal chassis, and easily mounts to a wall with the included mounting hardware. A power cable and four foot pads are also included.
