Product description Boost your home wireless coverage with the MR8300 Tri-Band Mesh AC2000 Wi-Fi Router from Linksys. Supporting the Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) wireless standard, the tri-band MR8300 is capable of up to 2.2 Gb/s total Wi-Fi data throughput and comes equipped with four Gigabit LAN ports, a Gigabit WAN port, and a USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 Type-A port. The MR8300's support for Wi-Fi mesh networks means you can extend the router's coverage by installing more Linksys Velop wireless nodes in your home. Multi-user MIMO technology allows for multiple simultaneous data connections, while Beamforming+ technology lets the router focus its Wi-Fi signals toward nearby wireless devices. Smart Connect Band Steering helps the router direct Wi-Fi clients toward the most appropriate wireless band. - Mesh Wi-Fi
- With built-in Mesh Wi-Fi, this router is designed to scale to your household's Wi-Fi needs. As your Wi-Fi needs grow, simply add a Linksys Velop node to expand your coverage. Velop nodes all work seamlessly together with the MR8300, so there's no need to manually switch between networks.
