Product description The BirdCage a7 MK2 PRO MicroMega Bundle from LockCircle is designed for the Sony a7R II or a7S II cameras. It includes a lightweight, form-fitting twin-baseplate camera cage, top grip handle, MicroMega Plus Kit 35, LockPort Flex kit with MicroPort, Topeak LumiTool 7, and Stubby Tool. The BirdCage a7 MK2 PRO camera cage features an asymmetric design that keeps the right-hand camera grip and controls open for rapid and comfortable use. Its twin-baseplate system is comprised of an ultra-thin baseplate and T-riser plate. The cage features numerous 1/4" and 3/8" mounting threads for accessory mounting. The top grip handle also offers 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 accessory threads and can support a 15mm rod through its aluminum construction.The MicroMega Baseplate Kit 35 attaches to the T-riser plate allowing you to mount this BirdCage onto a 15mm rod system. It is comprised of a mounting baseplate, top plate with safety unlocking system, camera sliding top plate, 15mm rod mount with titanium knobs, and two 35 riser rods. The integrated LockPort Flex sets the HDMI port output in best position to reach viewfinders and monitors with an improved cable layout on your rigs. This helps improve gimbal balancing by minimizing unwanted cable pulling, and eliminates drag or erratic camera movements in your shots. The LockPort Flex comes with three micro-to-full-size HDMI cables (4, 6, and 8") to offer variety of mounting options. The MicroPort further secures the camera port micro HDMI/mini USB connectors with safety locking, titanium knobs.The included Topeak LumiTool 7 is an ultra-light, full metal 7-function compact wrench tool with one detachable super bright LED light cartridge for working in the dark. In addition, the straight blade Stubby T-handle screwdriver allows you to tighten and loosen the camera tie-down screw. Its ergonomic grip with finger grooves allow for comfortable use, and the fat blade offers a secure grip. - BirdCage PRO a7 MK2 Kit with Twin Baseplates Take advantage of the UHD recording capabilities of the Sony a7R II or a7S II by outfitting the camera for video production use with the BirdCage PRO a7 MK2 Kit with Twin Baseplates from LockCircle. The cage provides a durable mounting frame for both the camera and accessories. Its 3/4 design offers accessory mounting holes on both the side and top of the camera, while leaving access to the camera grip open for easy control and handheld operation. To keep weight down and maintain a low profile, the cage includes an ultra-thin baseplate that is ideal for working with gimbals and drones. A T-riser baseplate is included for when you need to construct a larger rig, and attaches directly to the ultra-thin baseplate. The T-riser works in combination with optional accessories to support Metabones and P+S Technik IMS lens mount adapters.

The MicroMega is a height/length-adjustable, 15mm modular baseplate system supporting a broad range of camera sizes. With the MicroMega concept, your baseplate can follow a wide range of set-ups from a small, compact action camera to a bigger production camera. Using MicroMega, the standard 15mm rod distance (85mm from the lens optical center) can be adjusted precisely.
The Top Slider camera plate can be used in conjunction with the MicroMega Mount Plate for mounting the camera on a tripod head, shoulder rig, or car, using 1/4”-20 or 3/8”-16 screws. The MicroMega is CNC-machined from aluminum and comes with LockCircle's custom Titanium Grade 5 screws. The spring-loaded, indexable knobs are also custom CNC-machined from Titanium Grade 5, with a carbon steel spring for reliability. - Top Grip Handle for BirdCage PRO
