Product description Great for use with your laptop or desktop computer, Logitech's C310 HD Webcam is a versatile, full-featured solution for your video recording, chatting, and photo-taking needs. This webcam captures video in a vivid widescreen HD 720p. It features a built-in RightLight 2 technology so that your webcam will produce the best possible image, even in low-light conditions. Well-suited for video calls or IM chatting, the webcam has a built-in microphone with RightSound technology that neutralizes acoustic noise in the background so your conversations sound clear and natural. In terms of video chatting, the webcam is compatible with many IM applications, particularly Skype, Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, and AOL Instant Messenger. Aside from chatting, the webcam can also record video and upload it to YouTube or Facebook with the webcam's one-click upload button (you'll need to first install the included software). If you have a video blog, the one-click button can come in very handy. Beyond video, the webcam can also take snapshot photos at a software-enhanced resolution of 5MP. It's compatible with your Windows PC and is ready for use as soon as you connect it through your computer's USB 1.1 or 2.0 port. A USB 2.0 port is recommended, though.
For getting the most from your C310 HD Webcam, you will also receive Logitech's Vid HD and Video Effects software and MAGIX's Photo Manager 9 software and their Video Easy software. Logitech's VID HD is great for making easy, hassle-free video calls to your friends while their Video Effects software allows you to add neon splashes, fish-eye distortions, avatars, filters, and other special effects to your video calls.
