Product description Add connectivity to your Skype for Business conferences with the SmartDock Flex Expansion Kit from Logitech. The dock provides a Skype for Business interface and works as a conference control device, and it can connect to existing compatible conference equipment such as Logitech ConferenceCams. Furthermore, the dock provides Gigabit Ethernet, audio, power, USB 2.0, and HDMI ports for connecting your conference equipment, and an Extender Box that provides additional connectivity for wired peripherals. The dock also allows you to leave a Surface Pro docked and protected.
For meetings outside the Microsoft ecosystem, the SmartDock Flex provides AV passthrough access to the room's camera, speakerphone, and display. Moreover, you can streamline and consolidate cabling for a clean, clutter-free installation. This dock also provides an integrated GROUP hub for direct camera and speakerphone connections. The SmartDock Flex expansion kit includes a base that mounts beneath the dock and an extender box that fits behind a display at the front of the room.
Rather than needing to run multiple cables across the room, installers can connect the SmartDock Flex base and extender box with a CAT6 cable up to 50' for expanded room layouts. You can also use the equipment in your Skype rooms with Cisco WebEx, Zoom, BlueJeans, and most other webinar services. Together with the SmartDock, the Logitech SmartDock Flex ensures maximum versatility for Skype Room Systems. - Cable Consolidation
- The Logitech SmartDock Flex Expansion Kit is designed to make it easy to manage cabling between the conference table and the front of the room, and eliminates the need to purchase and install individual USB and HDMI extenders.
- Extended Room Layouts
- You can position the SmartDock Flex within easy reach of meeting participants, even if that's across the room from your wall-mounted displays. SmartDock Flex sends data, audio, video, and power through up to 50' with a CAT6 cable, which you can easily route under tables, through walls, above ceilings, and through standard raceways and conduits.
- AV Passthrough
- To maximize the versatility of Skype Room Systems, the SmartDock Flex adds passthrough access for both local projection and participation in external meetings. To project slides and documents to the room's display, connect a laptop via HDMI. Or transfer files via USB.
- Cable Retention and Strain Relief
- Designed with retention and strain-relieving mechanisms for securing AV cables within the SmartDock Flex base. With a CAT6 cable that clicks into place at both ends, users can reposition SmartDock Flex without impacting power, USB, and HDMI connections.
- Hub for Logitech GROUP
- With an integrated hub for the Logitech GROUP ConferenceCam, installers can reduce crosstable cabling by connecting the speakerphone to the SmartDock Flex base and the camera to the SmartDock Flex extender box.
