Product description With the Losmandy Triple-Axis Camera Rotation Mount you can now quickly and easily mount a DSLR camera onto EQ, alt-az, or motorized mount heads for wide-field, Solar (with proper filters), and Lunar astrophotography. The base is compatible with Losmandy's large D or smaller V-plates for use with the two most popular plate sizes, while a standard 1/4"-20 threaded post on top enables fast attachment of a camera without the need for tools thanks to a tightening large knob.The mount is designed to provide a wide range of motion, enabling the camera to be rotated a full 360°, with a ±45° up or down tilt for precise placement. The base portion can also rotate 360° for an even greater range of motion. Made of a lightweight and durable aluminum allow, it sports a scratch and corrosion-resistant anodized finish to protect it. When using a D-plate, the height from the top of the plate to the top of the camera mount is 3.95"; and when using a V-plate, the height is 3.65".
