Product description The Louroe Electronics AP-1TBRM Audio Monitoring Base Station is a single zone non-alarming base station with listen and talkback. As a system (with a Louroe speaker / microphone), it allows you to monitor live audio with the help of its built-in 4" (102mm) speaker and microphone for talkback to the remote area. This is a desktop model and the distance between this base station and the speaker / microphone can be up to 1,000' (304m). When connected with a remote Louroe speaker / microphone (sold separately), it functions as a bi-directional (2-way) communication system.
Audio in this base station can be monitored by pushing in the zone switch. The blue light on the switch indicates that the unit is in the monitoring mode. The unit contains Audio Out and Audio In jacks for connecting to a DVR / VCR for recording and playback. A 3.5mm stereo headphone jack is provided for private listening. This base station is compatible with the following Louroe Speaker / Microphone models: TLI, TLM series, TLMC, TLO, and TLSP. It comes with a 19” (48.2cm) rack mount. Note: When this equipment is used as part of an audio monitoring system, the law requires that the public be given notice of audio monitoring on the premises. A decal notice is included with each microphone shipped.
The AP-1TB Audio Monitoring Base Station of ASK-4 Kit #501 is supplied with a 70V talkback output, which is standard for most audio applications. Should a 600Ω talkback output be required, please contact Louroe for details regarding instructions for switching over to 600Ω.
