Product description The Louroe Electronics ASK-4 LE-025 Audio Monitoring Kit consists of the TLM-W 2-Way Speaker/Microphone, AP-1TB Single-Zone Non-Alarming Audio Monitoring Base Station, AD-1 12VDC Power Supply, and a dual RCA connector cable. It is a single-zone audio monitoring system with 2-way audio capability.
The TLM-W speaker unit is mounted at the location that requires audio monitoring. It features a built-in electret condenser microphone and a 4” speaker, and comes with a back box for surface mounting. Combined with the AP-1TB Single-Zone Non-Alarming Audio Monitoring Base Station, it enables you to establish bi-directional audio communication between locations up to 1000’ apart.
By activating the push to talk switch on the base station, you can speak into the unit’s built-in microphone to communicate with any authorized personnel or potential intruders at the site where the speaker unit is installed. The person can simply respond by talking into the speaker unit’s built-in microphone. The base station also features an input / output interface to transfer the audio to a DVR or VCR, facilitating audio recording and playback.
Both the units are powered via the AD-1 Plug-in Switching AC Adapter, and the Dual RCA Cable allows you to connect the base station to a DVR or VCR for recording and playback the audio at the speaker unit site. Note: When this equipment is used as part of an audio monitoring system, the law requires that the public be given notice of AUDIO MONITORING ON THE PREMISES. A decal notice is included with each microphone. This disclaimer must be affixed, in plain view, at all entrances where the microphones are installed.

For Microphone Connection: 4-conductor with a drain wire (2-conductor shielded), 20 gauge with a 22 gauge drain wire
For Speaker Connection: 2-conductor twisted pair, unshielded, 18 gauge - 2-way talk / listen system
