Product description The Louroe Electronics TLSP-PB-WF Vandal-Resistant Speaker Microphone is designed for correctional facilities or areas of high vandalism. This call station comes with a push button and wall flush mount, and provides 2-way communication with the Louroe sound activated alarming base station models; DG-12II/DG-25III and ALA-4/8 series. This unit consists of an electret condenser microphone, a 3” (7.6cm) speaker, and a vandal-resistant call button, all mounted upon an 11 gauge stainless steel face plate. When interfaced with a Louroe sound activated base station, this system can be activated either by a noise that exceeds the threshold level (such as a scream or yell), or by pressing its built-in call button. A 3 kHz zone is sent by the call button, which activates the base station and opens up a 2-way communication path. A special built-in sound path protects both speaker (2W power rating) and microphone from abuse. This speaker microphone is compatible only with certain Louroe sound activated alarming base stations. Note: When this speaker microphone is used as part of an audio monitoring system, it is legally mandatory to give a public notice regarding the audio monitoring on the premises. A decal stating the same (provided by Louroe Electronics) must be installed in a visible location at the entrances and exits of both private and public buildings and vehicles.
