Product description Created for home users, makers, designers, engineers, architects, and anyone else looking for a user-friendly desktop 3D printer, the Mini 2 3D Printer from LulzBot is an upgraded version of their original Mini 3D Printer. The Mini 2 features Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) printing technology; a print area of 6.3 x 6.3 x 7.09"; a top print speed of 300mm/s; and a layer thickness of 2.0 to 15.7 mil. It uses 2.85mm PLA, Natural PLA, Metal PLA, Ninjaflex, Polyflex, ABS, PETG, nGen, INOVA-1800, HIPS, HT, t-glase, Alloy 910, Bridge Nylon, Nylon 645, Polycarbonate, PC-Max, PC+PBT, PC-ABS Alloy, PCTPE, and other filaments. The printer is equipped with a single extruder nozzle and a heated borosilicate glass printing bed that is covered with a PEI print surface. The LulzBot Mini 2 3D Printer prints via its USB Type-B port or an SD card. It operates using a 150W / 100-240 VAC auto-switching power supply and features a nozzle temperature of up to 554°F and a heated print bed temperature of up to 248°F. It is compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux/GNU. Compatible .stl, .obj, .x3d, .3mf, .png, and .jpg files may be printed using Cura LulzBot Edition software (version 3.2 or newer), which features faster loading times, an improved interface, more slicing features, and Marlin version 1.1.8 firmware. Other new features built into the Mini 2 include an E3D Titan Areo-based tool head, a modular bed system, a GLCD screen with SD card usage, Einsy RAMbo electonics, a belt-driven z-axis, and a redesigned x-axis.
