Product description Created for engineers, designers, educators, and makers, the TAZ 6 3D Printer from LulzBot is suited for the creation of both large and small objects. It is self-leveling and self-cleaning, while also taking advantage of a modular tool head design for flexible and multi-material upgrades. The TAZ 6 features a print area of 11.02 x 11.02 x 9.8"; a print volume of 1185 in3; a top print speed of 200mm/s; an average print speed of 30-50mm/s; features a layer thickness of 2.0 to 19.7 mil; uses 3.0mm ABS, PLA, HIPS, PVA, wood-filled filaments, Polyester (Tritan), PETT, bronze, copper, stainless steel-filled filaments, Polycarbonate, Nylon, PETG, conductive PLA and ABS, UV luminescent filaments, PCTPE, PC-ABS, Alloy 910, and more; and is equipped with a single extruder nozzle and a heated borosilicate glass printing bed that is covered with a PEI print surface. This print surface helps to keep printed objects in place while hot and subsequently releases them when cool. Additionally, using the included Cura LulzBot Edition software, you'll have hundreds of printing profiles available to help with your creative endeavors.
The LulzBot TAZ 6 3D Printer prints via its USB Type-B port, and there is also an SD card slot. It operates using a 100-240 VAC power supply and features a tool head temperature of up to 572°F and a heated print bed temperature of up to 248°F. Included is a USB cable, an AC power cable, a Hot End Tool Head with a 0.5mm nozzle, a 4GB SD card, a filament feeding tube, a toolkit bag, a 15-piece metric hex key set, a pair of needle nose pliers, tweezers, a standard precision knife, a dental pick, a parts removal knife (clam knife), and a metric ruler. - Discouraged Materials
- Printing with carbon fiber filaments is not recommended at this time because carbon fiber filaments can degrade both the nozzle and hot end of the LulzBot TAZ 6 tool head.
- Optional Tool Head Upgrades
- The LulzBot TAZ 6 has multiple tool head upgrade options, such as the Flexystruder for reliable printing of flexible filaments and the Dual Extruder and FlexyDually tool heads for two-color or multi-material 3D printing. The LulzBot TAZ 6 utilizes an open filament format. This means you have the freedom to choose from dozens of materials, with over 300 printing profiles in Cura LulzBot Edition.
