Product description The LumiQuest Starter Kit provides everything needed to start modifying the light from a shoe-mount flash unit, including the Pocket Bouncer, FXtra Gel Holder, 8 Rosco gels, and an UltraStrap. The Pocket Bouncer allows you to soften the light from your flash by reflecting it at a 90° angle and then spreading the light.
Another option provided is the FXtra Gel Holder, which can be used in combination with other modifiers. This lets you use gels, 8 of which are included, to balance the light or create a special lighting effect. For attaching these to the flash head, the kit features the UltraStrap that uses hook-and-loop fasteners to secure the accessories - Pocket Bouncer - for Shoe Mount Flash The LumiQuest Pocket Bouncer enlarges and redirects the light at a 90° angle from the flash to soften the quality of light and distribute it over a wider area. While no exposure compensation is necessary with automatic flashes, operating distances are somewhat reduced. The Pocket Bouncer is used to soften the flash light output with minimal light loss; to be used with slaves or alone where low ceilings are not available, or where more direct but soft fill light is desired. Attaches to the flash head in seconds with the included touch fastener tabs.

It is used as a quick change vehicle so you can expeditiously change the color of the light needed at any given time. FXtra is designed to work with most popular flashes. A wide variety of Lumiquest products (other brands as well) can be coupled with FXtra in use. Note: Accommodates both Rosco and Lee gel samples
