Product description LumiQuest's Strobist Kit offers three of the favorite LumiQuest light modifier products of David Hobby, author of "The Strobist" blog. This kit includes the Promax Softbox III, the FXtra Compact Gel Holder with 8 Rosco Gels, and two UltraStraps, a secure non-adhesive mounting strap, all in a convenient storage wallet. If you want to expand your portable flash techniques, this kit is a good place to start. The Softbox III is approximately 20 times the size of a portable flash head, which means the light produced will cover a wide area and have very soft shadows. - Promax Softbox III The Lumiquest ProMax SoftBox III enlarges and diffuses the light from your flash in the direct flash position. SoftBox III has roughly twice the diffusion surface as the original SoftBox. Its 8 x 9" surface is over 25 times the size of today's most popular flash heads, producing much softer shadows. No exposure compensation is required when shooting with TTL exposure control, but SoftBox III will interfere with the on flash auto exposure sensor and autofocus assist. Approximate light loss is 1.25 stops.

It is used as a quick change vehicle so you can expeditiously change the color of the light needed at any given time. FXtra is designed to work with most popular flashes. A wide variety of Lumiquest products (other brands as well) can be coupled with FXtra in use. Note: Accommodates both Rosco and Lee gel samples

Using touch-tabs and neoprene, the strap applies a constant 3 lb. tension to the flash with a non-skid surface for a stable method of mounting accessories to your portable flash.
