Product description The Lumos 200GT MK Vari-Color LED Fixture with IP65 Connector and AC Adapter is built into a metal chassis with rubberized corners protecting the LEDs and providing a durable fixture with enhanced features such as 100-0% flicker-free dimming and an LCD info display. Roughly equivalent to a 400W fixture, it produces a light with a CRI rating of 95 at 5600K and 97 at 3200K. It features an 85° beam spread, and features an integrated diffusion screen to minimize multiple shadows. Built into the fixture is a knob to locally control color temperature and another for dimming, or you may utilize the 5-pin XLR DMX ports to remotely control the unit's color temperature and dimming from a compatible control panel (control panel not included).
The IP65 rated connectors and included rain cover allows the unit to work in wet conditions, although battery power, as opposed to mains power, is recommended. The fixture is DC powered, incorporating a 4-pin XLR connector and including an AC/DC power supply for mains power. The power supply mounts on the back of the fixture and can be removed allowing you to attach optional Gold Mount or V-Mount plates to the light. An available set of barndoors permits you to control the lights spill (battery plates and barndoors are not included). A combo Baby pin/Junior stud is attached to the yoke, so you can mount the fixture on a stand or hang it from a grid with optional clamps. - Soft Source, Single Shadow
- The diffusion softens the light and provides an 85° beam spread and a single source shadow.
- Consistent Light Output
- This unit features the same number of Daylight bulbs as the Daylight only unit, as well as the same number of Tungsten LEDs as the Tungsten only unit. This allows the output when used as Daylight or Tungsten only source to match Daylight or Tungsten only Lumos fixtures. It is worth noting that unlike with many other LED panel lights, which experience a peak brightness level at about 4300K. The Lumos fixtures do not shift in brightness as you transition from Daylight to Tungsten. Lumos panels maintain the same brightness across the fixture's color temperature range.
- Battery Power
- The fixture accepts interchangeable Gold or V-mount battery plates.
- LCD Info Screen
- On the back of the fixture is an LCD info screen that displays the battery power remaining in numerals and not a battery gauge, likewise, dimming is displayed numerically as well.
- Water Resistance
- The connections are rated as IP65, however the light fixture is not. Using the included rain hood provides some water resistance to your light fixture.
- Lumos points out that not only do they manufacture the light fixture, but they also control the manufacture of the LEDs and do not purchase them from a third party.
- The fixture features a yoke with a combination Baby-pin receiver / Junior pin and a spring-loaded locking lever for securing your light once positioned.
