Product description Own the night using Luna Optics 5x Elite 2nd-Generation Bi-Ocular with Laser Rangefinder. This night vision device offers users a comprehensive nighttime observational experience with its long-range capabilities, a quality all-glass objective, multi-element low distortion eyepieces, and sliding interpupillary adjustment. For conversion of the infrared night scene profile to visible images, this device employs a high-resolution 2nd-generation intensifier tube that is enhanced with automatic gain and bright light protection. While the automatic gain frees you from constantly adjusting image brightness due to changing scene conditions, the bright light protection prevents accidental burnout of the tube due to sudden flashes of light. Other highlights of this night vision device are its integrated laser rangefinder, which measures distances to your targets, and an LED infrared illuminator, which casts extra infrared light on objects of interest and improves image visibility and brightness. A special feature of the illuminator is its momentary-on capability that enables you to turn on and off the illuminator instantly, minimizing possible exposure to your adversaries. To enhance durability and strength, the housing is made from water-resistant and impact-resistant polymer.
