Product description Luna Optics' LN-EBG1-Pro 1x 2nd Generation Night Vision Biocular & Headgear Kit offers a versatile, compact, and rugged night vision device that can be used as a handheld device, mounted to a helmet, or worn with the included headgear. It features a 2nd generation intensifier tube with an automatic gain control. To maximize image brightness in nearly-total darkness, the device carries two built-in infrared illuminators, short range and long range, that cast extra infrared light on your targets. To add convenience and stealth for tactical applications, the device offers an automatic on/off function that is active when you flip up or down the NVD on your headgear. The Pro version also has a selectable dual bright light protection function. Its 1x lens system, upgradable to higher magnifications with optional lenses, offers a wide 40° field of view and an ultra-short minimal focusing distance of 10".
The housing is made of a lightweight and impact-resistant composite polymer, offers fogproof and waterproof performance, and provides protection from adverse conditions and extreme temperatures. To prevent spill-over of light from the intensifier tubes and to provide a comfortable cushion between your eyes and the eyepieces, the eyepieces offer wide-winged rubber eyecups. The body is ergonomic, has knurled adjustment rings, and has a 1/4"-20 socket for mounting the device on a tripod. Also noteworthy is a desiccant compartment (and two included desiccant cartridges) that removes moisture from the interior of the device, and a built-in valve for filling the device with nitrogen for additional protection against internal fog. - Intensifier Tube
