Product description Luna Optics Elite Mini 1x 2nd Generation Night Vision Monocular offers a versatile, compact, and rugged night vision device that can be used handheld, mounted to a helmet, weapon, or worn with an optional headgear. Additionally, two of these devices can be linked for binocular use. Its second generation intensifier tube provides images with 38-40 lp/mm resolution, good edge-to-edge clarity, and adequate brightness. The auto-gain control adjusts image brightness and controls detail according to external lighting conditions. To maximize image brightness in total darkness, or for reading maps, the monocular carries a short-ranger built-in IR illuminator that has two output settings: 15 and 30mW. The optical system features all-glass optics, full multi-coatings, a 1x wide angle lens (40°), and a short minimal focusing distance of 10".
The aluminum housing is lightweight and impact-resistant, and offers a weather-resistant performance. To accommodate your mounting style, the device has two mounting points and includes an adapter with a 1/4" socket. To prevent spill-over of light from the intensifier tube and to provide a comfortable cushion between your eye and the eyepiece, the eyepiece has a wide rubber eye cup. The body is ergonomic, has knurled adjustment rings, and has a 1/4"-20 socket for mounting the device on a tripod. - Intensifier Tube
