Product description Designed for outdoor enthusiasts, nature observers, and hunters, the Luna Optics' LN-NVM3-HR 3x42 1st Generation Night Vision Monocular can make a handy addition to your night gear and can be used as a handheld or tripod-mounted device for your activities. Featuring a 1st generation intensifier tube and five-element multi-coated optics, this device is designed to deliver crisp and vivid images while reducing distortions. To help achieve improved brightness in low-light conditions, the objective lens offers a wide 42mm diameter. With notable a 3.0x magnification, the optic also gives your eye a wide 20° field of view to look at, which helps to grasp more of a night scene.
The black and green housing is ergonomic and has a rubberized covering that provides a secure and pleasing tactile contact. Being waterproof, it also protects your night monocular from damage due to adverse weather conditions or an accidental drop into water. For securing the NVD to a tripod or for attaching accessories like an external long-range IR illuminator, the body also has a 1/4"-20 screw socket. - IIT and IR Illuminator
