Product description Luna Optics' LN-TB35-LRF 3.5-14x50 Thermal Biocular with Laser Rangefinder allows you to see thermal imagery and accurately measure range during the day or at night. It enables you to observe thermal images from humans, game, livestock, and inanimate hot or warm objects like running engines, exhaust fumes, and hot wires. It can help you conduct tactical, surveillance, or search and rescue missions by letting you see through smoke, fog, or dust. At the core of this device is a 384 x 288 uncooled microbolometer, which processes thermal images at a 50 Hz refresh rate. After processing, video data is delivered for viewing via the built-in 800 x 600 color OLED display. You can also relay it (in PAL or NTSC formats) to an external display or a recording device. The infrared optical system features a 50mm, f/1.0 lens with a 3.5x optical magnification and up to 4x digital zoom, allowing you to see your targets at up to 14x combined magnification. Another highlight is a user-friendly control pad for operating the device and switching between image processing function and palettes such as white hot, black hot, and nine other color palettes. To add versatility, the thermal unit also features a precision laser rangefinder with a maximum range of 656 yards.
For strength, durability, and water-resistance, the housing is made from cast aluminum alloy. To provide a sure grip, all adjustment rings are knurled. Depending on your application, you can use the imager as a handheld device or mount on a tripod by its 1/4"-20 socket.
