Product description Luna Optics delivers the LN-TRS55-LRF 5.5-22x75 Thermal Riflescope to add stealth to your target observations and target acquisitions during the day or at night and through smoke, fog, or dust. At the core of this device is a 384 x 288 uncooled microbolometer, which captures images of thermal profiles with a 50 Hz refresh rate. After processing, the video data is delivered to an 800 x 600 color OLED display. The viewing experience is smoothed out by the Shutter-Free Technology that removes a shutter effect and flickering that is found in many contemporary thermal imaging systems. Other highlights are the infrared optical system with a 75mm lens and a 5.5x magnification and five digital reticles. To add versatility, the device also has a precision eye-safe laser rangefinder with a maximum range of 656 yards and a pressure pad remote control for activating the rangefinder. Using an ergonomic control pad, you can choose between image processing modes and functions, like White Hot and Black Hot color palettes.
To match the unforgiving conditions of the battlefields, the cast aluminum housing is waterproof and impact-resistant. For added comfort and slip-free operation, all the knobs have knurling or texture, and to save space and to add convenience, both windage and elevation adjustments are integrated into a single turret. For attachment to most standard firearms, the housing also provides Picatinny/Weaver style rail mount.
