Product description The yellowbrik HDMI to SDI Converter with 3D Support from Lynx Technik AG converts most HDMI sources up to 1080p60, including 3D material, to SDI. It features two SDI outputs, which support SD-SDI, HD-SDI, and 3G-SDI. In addition, a stereo analog input allows an auxiliary audio source to be embedded in the HDMI output. A reference input allows the SDI signal to be synchronized with an external source, and supports SD bi-level sync, black burst, colorbars, and tri-level HD sync. Finally, there is a Fiber SFP cage allows you to install a fiber optic transmitter for applications where extreme cable runs are required. - Analog Audio Embedding
- The SDI output supports a total of 8 channels of embedded audio including existing HDMI audio as well as audio captured through the stereo analog input. Analog sources can be assigned to any of the 8 available channels; if any HDMI audio is already present on the channels selected, it will be replaced by the analog source. Both balanced 1/4" (TRS) and unbalanced, line level sources are accepted, and a stereo RCA to 1/4" adapter cable is included
- Fiber Output Option
- Where extended cable runs are required on the output side, there is a Fiber SFP cage on the side of the unit that allows installation of either the OH-TX-1 or OH-TX-3-1150 fiber optic transmitter, sold separately
- HDMI Synchronization
- Allows you to take an asynchronous HDMI source and synchronizes it to a common reference clock. The reference input accepts nearly any analog video sync format, including SD bi-level sync, black burst, colorbars, and tri-level HD sync. The sync input is auto detecting and fully cross lock compatible. For example, an SD black burst reference can be used to frequency lock an HD HDMI input. If no reference is present, the converter performs a standard asynchronous HDMI to SDI conversion
- Analog and AES Audio Embedding
- A stereo pair of analog inputs can be embedded into any SDI audio channel. Inputs can be either professional balanced audio sources with selectable, full scale level, or unbalanced consumer line level audio
