Product description The Macally 9-Port USB Hub and Charger features seven data transfer USB ports and two USB charging ports. This hub has a single USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port and two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, which support a data transfer rate of up to 5 Gb/s, ideal for devices like an external hard drive or a USB flash drive. There are also four USB 2.0 Type-A ports for less demanding devices, such as a keyboard or mouse. These four USB 2.0 ports also support CDP, which stands for Charging Downstream Port. This means that you can sync and quickly charge (1.5A per port, 3.5A in total) your smartphone and tablet at the same time. There are also two dedicated USB charging ports, one of which is a Type-C port and the other is a Type-A port. These two USB charging ports support smart charging and provide 2.4A per port (3.5A in total) for fast charging. When using the 12V/4A power adapter, this hub turns into a standalone 6-port USB charger. - 7 Data Transfer USB Ports
