Product description The SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Storage Enclosure for 3.5" SATA HDDs from Macally allows you to turn a SATA hard drive into an external drive. Attaching a 3.5" SATA hard drive is easy, and the enclosure allows you to connect the drive to your computer using a USB 3.0 connection. USB 3.0 provides transfer speeds as fast as 5Gbps, over ten times faster than USB 2.0. The enclosure is backwards compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices, allowing you to use it with older computers. - SATA to USB 3.0 technology, speeds up to 5Gbps
