Product description The Mackie SRM1850 1600W 18" Powered Subwoofer is for extending the low-frequencies in a sound system. It is used in various environments for sound reinforcement applications such as portable DJ's, live stage, houses of worship, theater, rehearsals and more. It features 1600W of power and has an 18" subwoofer. The subwoofer is enclosed in a front ported internally-braced all-wooden cabinet and delivers maximum low-frequency extension and punch. It is built to provide tour level road-worthiness. The SRM1850 subwoofer features stereo XLR inputs, full-range and high-pass outputs, and a variable digital crossover that includes presets for the SRM550 and SRM650 loudspeakers (sold separately). It features a Smart Protect DSP that protects the subwoofer from overloads if things get pushed a little too hard. The driver has its own compression circuit which helps protect it from damaging transient peaks. This compressor is designed to be transparent and is not noticeable under normal operating conditions. An AC power cord is included. Note: The SRM1850 18" powered subwoofer is designed to sit on the floor or stage. It is not designed to be pole-mounted or suspended. The cabinet has no rigging points and is not suitable for rigging. Never attempt to suspend the subwoofer by its handles. - 1600W of power paired with a 18" woofer for high low-end performance
