Product description The MultiView II STx Video and Audio to UTP Transmitter from Magenta Research is designed for use with the MultiView Series. The STx Transmitter handles high resolution video via a 15-pin D connector, and 3.5mm phone jack stereo audio input into a single UTP cable via a RJ45 output connector. The STx features DDC and sync-all handling, which is designed to make replicating 1080p resolution video easier.
This transmitter is fully compatible with all products in the MultiView-A (video and audio) range. It is capable of delivering 1920 x 1200 resolution video to distances of up to 2000ft when paired with the appropriate MultiVew receiver. The transmitters DDC choices include a Magenta Magic profile (which supports the VESA resolution standards in both widescreen and standard formats) and the ability to copy and store DDC information from a specific device. Sync modes include Magenta's RepliSync-II technology, which is capable of encoding and decoding very narrow sync pulses. The MultiView II STx features coupling DDC-MODE settings via its 5 DIP switches. - RGBHV and non-RGBHV video support 1
