Product description The Voyager CFS-HDMI-TX2 2-Port Compact Format Standalone Transmitter from Magenta Research extends 1920 x 1200 uncompressed HDMI or DVI video, audio, and serial signals up to 6,600’ (2km) over multi-mode fiber optic cables. The transmitter has a small form factor and can be easily and securely mounted behind a screen or other small areas via the built-in mounting flange. Its range can be extended to up to 2.5 mi (4km) and 18.6 mi (30km) by using optional single-mode fiber optic modules (sold separately). While it ships with one MMF SFP standard module, the CFS-HDMI-TX2 Transmitter features a second port that, when populated with a second SFP (sold separately), introduces a variety of signal distribution options. For example, you could cascade signals to a second transmitter, or feed a second grouping of Voyager receivers (which can be daisy-chained). - Two duplex fiber optic output ports
- Small form factor makes mounting easy
- Uncompressed multi-format video at 1920 x 1200 resolution
- Transmission range of up to 18.75 mi (30km) using optional single-mode fiber optic modules
- Single-mode and multi-mode fiber support (single-mode modules sold separately; one MMF module included)
- Advanced EDID management and HDCP compliance; supports EDID/DDC connections on HDMI connectors
- Recognizes all 8 channels (if present) of embedded HDMI audio, passing them through the system to the receiver
- Video Output Formats: The local port is essentially a direct copy of the video input port, but the output video color-space is always RGB regardless of the input video color space
