Product description A Guide to Purchasing an ID Card Printer Read More bczxadqyterysyeuddtrtyzxwexzrby Utilizing both reverse transfer and dye sublimation print technologies, the Prima 4 Uno ID Card Printer from Magicard is able to produce high quality full-color single-sided cards by first printing images onto a thin film and then heat transferring those images onto the card surface. This allows for numerous additional card options since the overlay and image quality is not affected by physical items on the card, such as a proximity chip. Additionally, it enables holographic and UV printing options.
The 300 dpi printer also works quickly with a YMCK color print speed of 80 cards per hour. Also, it is compatible with a variety of CR-80 sized cards, and has edge-to-edge printing. These cards are handled by a 100-card input hopper and a 100-card output tray. Additionally, an optional in-line lamination module is available and it has both USB 2.0 and Ethernet connectivity options.
