Product description The DXPV-QR from Magnus is a proprietary quick release plate designed specifically for Magnus DX and PV series tripods.
Carrying a spare or backup quick release plate can always come in handy, preventing a lost plate from rendering your tripod useless in the field. Additionally, owning multiple plates allows you to quickly switch between multiple cameras and lenses for multi-format shoots or still and video recording.
On the technical side, the DXPV-QR features a proprietary mounting shoe which is compatible with all DX and PV Magnus tripods and heads. The plate also uses a standard 1/4"-20 mounting screw for compatibility with most cameras along with a retractable registration pin for camcorders. The bottom of the screw is equipped with a d-ring for hands-only, tool-less mounting and tightening and a bubble level has been integrated into the side of the plate for precise tilt leveling. - Compatibility
