Product description The 1.75mm Dissolvable Filament from MakerBot is designed for use as a solid infill material with the MakerBot ABS Filament. The Dissolvable Filament can easily dissolve in a limonene bath in just 8 to 24 hours, depending on the size and geometry of the 3D print.Limonene is a common, colorless, citrus-scented solvent available online and in grocery stores. The finished Dissolvable Filamaent print will carry a citrus scent for a few days.The Dissolvable Filament adheres well to kapton tape on a heated build plate. Please make sure your build plate is level, clean, and oil-free in order to ensure high quality 3D prints.The MakerBot Dissolvable Filament is comprehensively quality tested at both 100-micron and 200-micron layer resolutions on the MakerBot Replicator 2X to verify that the filament will perform every feature that the MakerBot MakerWare software offers and reliably slice and print every type of 3D printing available.
