Product description Designed to block infrared light beginning at 650-680nm, while allowing visible light to cleanly pass, the Mamiya Leaf 72mm Credo WS IR Cut Filter is a specialty filter that helps to achieve accurate and natural colors with digital sensors. This filter is especially well-suited to use with the Credo Wide Spectrum digital backs, which do no incorporate UV/IR protection glass in order to capture a wider spectral range. In using this filter, you can effectively convert your Wide Spectrum back into a visible spectrum back for realistic results.
The filter is constructed from the same optical glass used on standard Credo digital backs and is set in a durable aluminum alloy ring. The ring features 72mm front threads, as well, for stacking additional filters or attaching a lens cap. - IR cut filter blocks wavelengths from 650-680nm in order to achieve more pure transmittance and greater color accuracy of the visible spectrum.
- Ideally suited for use with Credo Wide Spectrum digital backs, where it can be used to produce realistic colors in a variety of lighting conditions.
- Optical glass construction maintains image quality and clarity.
- Mounted within an aluminum alloy filter ring with front threads for stacking additional filters.
- With a diameter of 72mm, this filter is compatible with many of the Mamiya Leaf system lenses.
