Product description The Schneider Kreuznach 240mm f/4.5 LS AF Lens from Mamiya Leaf is a prime telephoto lens that provides a 35mm-equivalent focal length of 149mm when used with Credo 80/60 digital backs, or 189mm with Credo 40 backs. The integrated leaf shutter offers precise shutter speed control and enables flash synchronization at speeds up to 1/1000 sec.
The medium telephoto length is ideal for wildlife, landscape, and nature photography, as well as portraiture and beauty, due to the long reach, compression of space, and the minimal vibration caused by the leaf shutter. An internal focusing design maintains the overall lens length during shooting and a built-in lens hood helps to protect the front element and minimize lens flare. - Designed for 645 AF-mount camera bodies.
- Medium telephoto lens is ideal for a wide variety of applications, including wildlife, nature, landscape, portraiture, and beauty photography.
- When used on Credo 80/60 or Aptus-II 12/10 digital backs, the 35mm-equivalent focal length is 149mm. With Aptus-II 7/5 backs, the equivalent focal length is 158mm; and with Credo 40 or Aptus-II 8/6 backs, the equivalent focal length is 189mm.
- Leaf shutter affords flash sync at shutter speeds up to 1/1000 sec.
- Internal focusing mechanism maintains the overall lens length when shooting, making it ideal for use with circular polarizing filter or graduated filters that are dependent on specific rotational placement. Since no external parts are moving, this lens is notably inconspicuous when working from a photo blind.
- An integrated metal lens hood offers protection to the front element and also blocks stray light from causing ghosting or lens flare.
