Product description The Mamiya V-Grip Air with Aptus Battery is a vertical handgrip for 645DF Series Medium Format DSLR Cameras. It features standard camera controls for comfortable vertical operation, like a shutter release, exposure lock, focus lock, and front and rear dials for shutter speed and aperture. Additionally, the grip is powered with an included Aptus battery.
The V-Grip Air features a built-in wireless flash trigger for the Profoto Air system and works with other flashes by using a Profoto transceiver. It features a 2.4GHz radio transmission with selection between 8 different channels. It will work up to 984' away and can reach a flash sync speed of 1/1600 second.
An integrated L-bracket enables the mounting of the camera in both vertical and horizontal positions. It is also Arca-Swiss compliant and features a 1/4"-20 thread in portrait mode and both 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 in landscape mode. Additionally, a USB 2.0 connection is available for firmware updates of the 645DF body or V-Grip.
The grip will work with 7.2 V lithium-ion Phase One and Leaf batteries up to 2,500 mAh and can hold six 1.5 V AA batteries for backup power. Included with the grip is a leather hand strap for security and comfort along with an extra camera screw lining and screwdriver.
