The aluminum bases have a footprint of 49.6" and accept autopoles with a column tube diameter of 45mm such as Manfrotto's Autopole 2. - 2 x Manfrotto 032BASE Single Base for Autopole This single Manfrotto Autopole Base is designed to support an Autopole, when either the ceiling is higher than 12' (3.6 m) or when you want your backgrounds to be free-standing.
