Product description Expand the capabilities of your small, medium, or large Manfrotto camera cage with the Manfrotto Camera Cage 15mm Baseplate. The baseplate holds 15mm rods at the correct placement to comply with the lightweight support (LWS) standard when using the small or medium Manfrotto or Wooden Camera cages. Four height-adjustable posts secure to the base of the small or medium variations of the Camera Cage to ensure the correct optical axis height. The large variation of the cage has its own built-in rod clamp, but can still benefit from the quick release of the Camera cage.
The bottom of the baseplate has a dovetail clamp quick release enabling convenient tripod mounting. The clamp complies with the ARRI dovetail standard and can be easily secured to all dovetail plates of that standard, as well as Wooden Camera's own dovetails and shoulder rigs. Having multiple quick release options in a single system enables you to remove the entire rig from the tripod to go handheld, or just the camera from the rig for a minimalist setup. - Provides proper rod-to-lens port center height for small and medium Manfrotto camera cages
