Product description Time-Lapse Tips and Tools Read More The Manfrotto MK190X3-BH Aluminum Tripod includes the 496RC2 compact ball head and a quick release plate. This tripod is an addition to the popular 190 series, adding a Quick Power Lock System, ground level adapter, and an Easy Link attachment. It can hold up to 13.2 lb of gear, and has a maximum height of 67". The ground level adapter replaces the center column to allow the ball head's plate to sit just 7.5" above the ground with the legs at their widest angle.
The QPL system allows the three leg sections to be completely extended with one hand for simple set up. An Easy Link adapter attachment allows instant connection between tripod and accessories, such as LED lights for macro photography and DSLR video applications using Manfrotto articulated arms and brackets. Each leg has four angles to accommodate uneven ground or rough terrain.
The 496RC2 compact ball head is constructed of die-cast aluminum and has a single repositionable locking lever, ±90° tilt movement, plus a friction control for precise positioning. The included 200PL quick-release plate attaches to your camera's tripod mount via a 1/4"-20 threaded screw. Additionally, the quick release has a safety system to prevent accidental separation from the head.
