- Manfrotto Fluid Video Head Range - Tutorial Video
The Manfrotto MVH500A Pro Fluid Video Head with 60mm Half Ball features a wide platform to support the HDSLR form factor, and a 60 mm half ball for quick leveling without adjusting the legs. The head supports a maximum weight load of 11 pounds and features professional quality fluid cartridges on both its pan and tilt axes for smooth camera moves. It has a pre-set spring-loaded counterbalance of 5.3 lb, supports equipment up to 11 pounds and features a tilt range of -70°/+90° and it provides 360° panning rotation.
The side lock system on the MVH500A allows the sliding QR plate to click into the head from above, instead of needing to be aligned and slid in from the back. This gives you the speed of a touch and go quick release with the balance adjustment capability of a sliding QR plate. The head is made from an aluminum alloy so it is durable and lightweight at under 2.5 pounds, and the built-in bubble level aids in quickly leveling the head. The included long sliding balance plate features both 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 camera tie-down screws. The MVH500A includes one pan bar, however the head features pan bar mounting rosettes on both sides of the head for operator comfort.
