Product description Enjoy playback of a variety of audio file types via wired or wireless connection with the Marantz NA6006 Network Audio Player. With built-in Bluetooth and AirPlay 2 connectivity, the NA6006 has the ability to wirelessly stream music from compatible devices such as tablets and smartphones. On-board Wi-Fi and Ethernet allow you to access a variety of Internet music sources and DLNA streaming content. The NA6006 uses an ESS SABRE ES9016K2M digital-to-analog converter for enhanced audio playback and supports a range of high-resolution audio formats, including DSD and FLAC.
In addition to the aforementioned wireless connectivity, the NA6006 offers optical, fixed stereo RCA, and variable stereo RCA outputs for connecting to your powered speakers, receiver, or amplifier. It also offers a front-panel USB port that supports audio playback from compatible mobile devices. The digital optical input allows the NA6006 to function as a standalone digital-to-analog converter. For control flexibility, the free Marantz Remote App allows you to control the network audio player from Android or iOS smart devices, and a variety of virtual assistants are also supported. - Amazon Alexa Voice Control
- Ask Alexa to play music from Pandora, Spotify, Amazon Music, and more. You can switch between inputs, adjust the volume, pause, mute, and play the next song, all with your voice.
- Google Assistant Voice Control
- Ask the Google Assistant built into your compatible device to control content across your listening environment. Start music in the HEOS app, then ask your Google Assistant to control volume, playback, and more.
- AirPlay 2 & Siri Voice Control
- Stream audio from your favorite music services like Apple Music and Spotify or watch videos from services like YouTube and Netflix from any iOS, Mac, or Apple TV device and hear the audio synced to your speakers with AirPlay 2. Wireless multi-room audio is also supported, allowing you to wirelessly stream content to multiple AirPlay 2-compatible devices simultaneously with enhanced audio buffering to help ensure smooth audio playback. AirPlay 2 also provides control and grouping of compatible audio devices within the Apple Music or Home App. Use AirPlay 2 in-app or with your voice via Siri.
- Josh.ai Smart Home Voice Automation
- Josh.ai is designed to offer flexible voice control for the NA6006 and the rest of your compatible smart home. It is installed by custom integrators and accessed through an app on your iOS or Android phone or tablet.
- Marantz 2016 AVR Remote App
- Download the Marantz 2016 AVR Remote app for control of the receiver and access to its setup menu for detailed adjustments from your compatible iOS, Android, and Kindle devices.
- Additional Control Options
- You can control the NA6006 with the included remote control, the HEOS remote app, or via your wired control systems via the remote input and output ports.
- Enhanced Wireless Connectivity
- The NA6006 is equipped with a dual-antenna system that allows streaming via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, AirPlay 2, or the HEOS app.
- Marantz Musical Digital Filtering (MMDF)
- The NA6006 features MMDF, which is DSP technology that lets you choose from two selectable digital filter characteristics to tailor the sound to your liking. Each algorithm handles the minute details of your music, helping to provide enhanced high-resolution audio playback.
- Marantz HDAM (Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Module) and ES9016 SABRE DAC
- The NA6006 features the ES9016 SABRE DAC with dual crystal clocks to help ensure accurate handling of digital signals. Included analog circuitry combined with Marantz HDAMs help provide a wide dynamic range and lower distortion.
- Fixed and Variable Output Terminals
- You can output directly to powered speakers or a power amplifier for digital source player/pre-amplifier use. Control volume with the remote control or via compatible apps.
- Headphone Gain Control
- Three different gain options (+8 dB, Default, or -8 dB) make it possible to drive low- or high-impedance headphones.
- Enhanced Construction
- Designed with audiophiles in mind, the NA6006 features a dual-layer chassis to help provide a solid foundation, and individual circuit boards help prevent mutual interference. Compact signal paths reduce distortion for augmented sound, while multiple high-current Schottky barrier diodes provide rapid recovery time and reverse-current protection.
- Standalone D/A Converter Capability
- Through the optical input, you can use the NA6006 as a DAC for your digitally connected components.
- Standby Recharging
- Charge your smart devices with the USB port, even if the NA6006 is in standby mode. Once your device is fully charged, the player automatically enters a low-power standby mode for minimal power consumption.
- HEOS Multi-Room Streaming
- With additional optional HEOS equipment, you can enjoy your favorite music anywhere around your home. Share music stored on your home network, Internet radio, or streaming services with optional HEOS wireless speakers or other HEOS-capable receivers throughout the house. Enjoy music from Spotify, TuneIn, SoundCloud, TIDAL, Napster, Deezer, or your local music file libraries.
