Product description The PMD-526C from Marantz Professional is a media player which can play audio from CDs, CD-Rs, USB formats, and SD/SDHC cards; it also provides a 3.5mm auxiliary input for compatible devices and Bluetooth connectivity for streaming audio wirelessly. With such a wide array of connection possibilities, the unit is suitable both for home audio and commercial applications—and with tempo lock and pitch control, the applications for this device are greatly increased, making it useful for use in dance and fitness applications, as well as retail settings, education scenarios, and more.
Other features include front panel lock, power on play, direct access to tracks with 10 buttons, the ability to recall settings after loss of power, Bluetooth pairing for up to eight devices at a time, and balanced XLR outputs for hookup to pro audio rigs. The PMD-526C also offers RS-232c control, and includes a remote for operation from a distance.
