Product description The black TB-20 Tripod Base for Select Gitzo Tripods from Markins is designed to replace a tripod's center column. The lightweight Duralumin construction of the base reduces the overall weight of the tripod. It enhances stability and minimizes vibration on the support while shooting long exposures, and without the center column, the base enables you to completely splay the legs to go low as possible for close-up or macro photography. The scratch-resistant, anodized base accepts the tripod center hook to add weight and further stabilize the tripod. - Compatibility
