Product description Designed to bring vintage Marshall Amplification tone to the table, the Astoria Classic AST1H is a single channel 30W RMS amplifier head intended for electric guitars. It's capable of powering 4-, 8-, or 16-Ohm cabinets. In addition to its three-band EQ, the AST1H features a sensitivity knob, an edge control, and a pull-power reduction function, which drops output from 30W to 5W in order to produce a softer, less abrasive tone. This single channel, tube-powered amplifier also sports two inputs, one high and one low, for optimal flexibility in dealing with different types of pickups with different output levels. Also, every element of the turret board has been handwired in England's Marshall factory to ensure the most efficient signal path. - Sensitivity
- This knob controls the sensitivity of the preamp, thereby increasing or decreasing gain without changing the output impedance of the first stage
- Edge
- This function regulates the high-frequency content of the power-amp stage, allowing for further tonal shaping
- Multiple Connections
- The AST1H features 5x 1/4" speaker jacks wired for 4-, 8-, and 16-Ohm cabinets
